Da Nang in Vietnam turned out to be an excellent resting destination. In particular, our Moc Son Apartment was located in a quiet residential district. Half-way between Da Nang in the North and the smaller Hoi An in the South.

We strolled along the sandy beach and savored local delicacies. The variety of vegetarian dishes surprised us! Probably due to Buddhist influence, Vietnamese cuisine delighted us with lesser-known summer rolls, mì quảng noodle soup, and the popular pho and spring rolls.

In terms of experiences, we were unimpressed with typical tourist destinations such as Ba Na Hills and Marble Mountains. What really excited us were the Bro Game Zone and Luxury Herbal Spa. The Bro Game Zone was a well-organized game salon with PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch consoles. We went there twice! For a fun Mario Party session with Daniel Schwarz and his partner, then a second time to try the co-op thrill, Split Fiction.

The Luxury Herbal Spa offered one of the best massages we ever had. Our 2-hour session of Aroma Anti-Stress included hot stones, essential oils, and meticulous acupressure, as per our preferences. We regularly do massages every fortnight, everywhere we go. And Luxury Herbal Spa offered 5-star service with attention to details.

That's it for Da Nang. Our next stop is the European Union.
