It has been 5 long weeks in Europe. We visited my relatives and friends in Poland, Austria, Sweden, Denmark and France. Connecting flights were tiring, and therefore, we were overjoyed to rest for a few weeks in sunny Tenerife.

Especially considering the warm welcome from my fellow nomad friends! I haven't been here for about two years, yet it feels like we saw each other just yesterday. To catch up on life updates, career changes and their growing families, we employed our favorite formula:

  • morning hike with breathtaking views,
  • yummy lunch at a guachinche (Canarian-style restaurant),
  • refreshing afternoon swim in the ocean.

Moreover, coming back meant I could visit my previously frequented health experts. I paid a visit to a specialized doctor, got my teeth checked at the dentist, and had my spine cracked by my favorite masseur.

Years have passed, and I keep discovering other wonderful destinations, but Tenerife still offers the perfect mix. It has a unique combination of pristine nature, Spanish laid back culture, modern infrastructure, fast internet and most importantly, network of nomad friends.

After such a welcome party, this island is a strong contender to become our permanent home.
