These last few years have been a rollercoaster. Pandemic, war in Ukraine, becoming a Portuguese resident, relocating to Tenerife, then back to Kuala Lumpur. The flexibility of my full-time nomading unlocked all these unique opportunities.

Still, maintaining strong relationships is my priority. Therefore, I'm thrilled to be back to Poland after four years. My partner and I start our trip with family reunions in Katowice, and then we continue our journey to the west. Up next are reunion with friends in Austria, Denmark, Sweden, France, and Spain.

Ghost Mode

Travel mobility goes hand in hand with digital mobility. That's why I'm always eager to test new tools. Especially when they address my hurdles. Ghost Pro became my hosting and content management system in February 2025, and I have had a blast using it!

It's fast, has unlimited storage, and all the features required to run this blog. Moreover, it's just been upgraded to version 6.0 with native analytics and Fediverse integration. Most importantly, I finally see that my reach and subscriber list are growing. All thanks to Ghost Pro!

Ghost Dashboard

Hello, Hey!

Just last year I praised iCloud Mail, as I was fed up with Gmail and Proton Mail. Technically, they are all functional and feature-rich email apps. But I was spending far too much time managing my inbox.

Therefore, after listening to the 6-hour podcast interview with DHH, I decided to try his unconventional Hey app. Much like my experience with Ghost, I was blown away. It's the only email client that doesn't charge based on storage. That's because Hey is aligned with me as a user. It cares about minimizing the time required to manage an inbox. No archiving, complex filters, or searching countless threads. Instead, I can quickly screen senders, use 3 predefined folders, and merge messages into one consistent experience, among many other useful features.

Hey's inbox for important messages. Hence Imbox.

Onwards

These new tools have made nomading so much smoother, and pairing that with my first trip home in years—eating some of my favorite childhood dishes, such as bigos, while reconnecting with family and friends in Poland—makes for a memorable trip.
