Last year I found a cadence for publishing my posts on nerdontour.net and social media. The goal for this year is to do the same for my podcast.
Currently, I'm in talks with audio editors who will edit my long-form conversations. After doing that myself for 13 episodes, I'm ready to delegate this job. Unlocking more time to record new content with exciting guests.
Additionally, I'm introducing audio articles. These are generated by ElevenLabs. Founded by fellow Poles, the AI startup is known for dubbing Lex Fridman podcasts. Conversations recorded in English uses the guests' original voices to generate dubbed versions in other languages. The quality is uncanny.
I've been using ElevenLabs to generate the audio tracks for my social media videos (stories, reels, shorts). It works great because these posts aim to be delivered in my calm, neutral voice. Now, I'm doing the same thing to my articles.
Starting with iCloud Mail, my most popular blog post, I generated a 15-minute audio version and published it on my Nerd on Tour Podcast.

Casey Newton, a tech journalist publishing as well on Ghost Pro, also embraced ElevenLabs. Following his lead, at the end of each audio article I disclose that it was AI generated with my cloned voice.
Nevertheless, my long-form interviews will remain intact. Instead of replacing myself with an AI, I intend to enhance your experience. The interviews are dynamic and colorful, with my guests' international accents, friendly banter, and loud laughs. While the ElevenLabs-generated audio is like Siri reading out loud an article.
Online traffic is fragmented, and we're all busy. That's why I believe my AI-cloned voice audio articles can increase accessibility and convenience.
